- ZokkiieMay 31, 2025Nice idea—a creepy, empty town and a mysterious force—but it quickly turns boring and slow. The story never really picks up, and most of the characters feel flat. Ben Affleck seems out of place, and even Peter O’Toole can’t save it. Some of the effects are okay for the time, but the movie just drags and doesn’t build much tension. It’s not scary, just kind of dull. Not the worst ever, but definitely not good.
