- eif9992025年1月26日Did not like. I think I've half watched in the past but I sat down and paid attention to it tonight and found the movie pretty bad. Elvis and the lady from Star Trek move to the country The father kept making bad decisions followed by him trying to reverse his actions for obvious reasons. The child actors we're annoying. The fact that they bought a big house in a super busy road and didn't think to put a fence up for the kids seems insane. And the wife didn't even see the house before moving in? And don't leave your 2year old playing ear the busy street alone lik every day. Sorry this film is a groaner right up to the husband making out with his wife despite fluid gushing from her brain. What is wrong with him?

What results is one of the most quietly unsettling horror films ever made. With minimal blood and gore, the terror doesn’t come from shock value, but from something far more inescapable: the dread and inevitability of death itself. The film, like the novel, leans heavily on atmosphere, grief and moral unease, letting the horror seep in slowly rather than explode on screen. It is haunting, somber and deeply uncomfortable in the best possible way. This is not a casual watch, nor is it a gentle King adaptation. Even seasoned fans may find it emotionally punishing.
