- Pieter T10h agoNot great in my opinion. I was far more creeped out by the original. Okay i was a kid and movies were less impressive overall, but still it had more atmosphere even without (or just because it was without?) all the fancy new realistic cgi and stuff. I cant say I really enjoyed this one very much.
- DigitalDisappointmentFebruary 19, 2025What truly awful fucking garbage. John Lithgow was far and away the best part of the movie. His performance was natural and believable, while the wife was such a damaged, fragile, needy wreck right from the start it's hard to imagine her being given a script, rather than the direction, "be as needy and useless and completely compromised of a human as possible".
- RyezooFebruary 14, 2025Lackluster. It just wasn’t impactful at anything. I also didn’t find this scary at all. The acting wasn’t the best. The ending also sucked. The positives was the cat and the birthday scene. Nothing else was that well done.
