Perfect Blue Ratings & Reviews
- livwomack4d agothis movie was really good!! you have to focus and rewatch a few times to kind of understand some things but overall i loved it.
- KennyBarrozJanuary 19, 2025The movie that was robbed in Hollywood as ”black swan”
- M08YAugust 7, 2025Perfect Blue is a remarkable story of Mima's identity struggles and her decent into madness with situations spiraling well out of her control. Throughout the film, you really can't tell what is real and what is not. It's only in the last 5 minutes that you really start to understand what really happened.... or do you? I can't help but feel that Perfect Blue was well ahead of it's time.
- Timeless CinemaOctober 7, 2025Perfect Blue exceptionally blends aspects of horror, thriller, drama, crime, and mystery into a tight narrative about suffering a mental break under pressure. Making you question what's real, and what's in Mima's mind.
- bynnekApril 26, 2025Really cool. Black swan meets basic instinct. Realistically disturbing.

- cultfilmlikerOctober 10, 2025Watched in 4K at Warren Regal East with Moore Note: Was met by a stranger as I entered the auditorium asking, “This is Perfect Blue, right?” Yeah, I think so. “Okay, just making sure because the group of children confused me!” Couldn’t handle that, had to sit in front of them and physically restrain myself from looking back until right before the SA scene….they were gone 😅
- FranBizAugust 6, 2025This is a very dark psychological thriller. It's very rich in layers of insanity from the protagonist's point of view. This movie will have you thinking about what's considered real or in the main character's head. I say check it out.
- neuroparadoxJuly 29, 2025This movie was so confusing that I am going to watch Primer right now to see if who wins for mindfuckery.

- Lucas CraparottaApril 16, 2025Perfect Blue is a masterpiece. Satoshi Kon does an incredible job messing with your head, blending dreams and reality in a way that keeps you guessing the whole time. It’s a wild ride that really sticks with you.
- UlyMarch 10, 2025Where do I even start? This film is crazy. Such a well done film. This is quite literally a psycho-thriller masterpiece. Didn’t expect any less from Satoshi Kon. RIP the goat. I would actually recommend this to everyone. Note that the film is rated 18+ as some scenes are not appropriate for younger viewers.
