Diretto da Brian HelgelandPorter e Val sono due ladri, molto amici tra loro che rubano 130 mila dollari ad un gruppo di malviventi cinesi. Al momento di dividere il bottino, Val, con la complicità della moglie di Porter, Lynn (attirata con l'inganno), si prende tutti i soldi mentre la moglie spara al marito, convinta di ucciderlo. Porter, però, guarisce e ha una sola idea: riprendere la sua parte di soldi e uccidere Val. Quando torna a casa, ritrova la moglie Lynn oramai abbandonata da Val e distrutta e la notte stessa muore per una dose di eroina. Da qui parte la caccia a Val, che nel frattempo è entrato a far parte di una potentissima organizzazione criminale, detta l'"Organizzazione"; lo farà con l'aiuto di Rosie, prostituta d'alto bordo e causa del tradimento della moglie. La sua ricerca si tramuta in una escalation continua: l'Organizzazione protegge i propri associati e per riavere quei soldi Porter si ritrova a sfidare l'intero sistema, polizia e mafia cinese inclusi.

- Aaron Slade29 marzo 2025The unnecessary remake of Point Blank. Its not too bad a watch, in a way its kind of fun. And it does have a couple of my favourite actors like Deborah Kara Unger, John Glover and Maria Bello. The blue tint to the film stock is overwhelming, I'm not sure what they were going for there. But what really annoys me every time I watch this movie is the actor Gregg Henry, who plays the friend who double crosses Mel Gibson. He overacts every scene to such a ridiculous level, I end up turning the movie off about half way through every time.
