Krishna falls in love with Pushpa from a lower caste their relationship is disapproved by her brother.Krishna is beaten by Pushpa's brother following which he quits engineering and goes to his village.The villagers there ridicule him as he was attacked by a lower caste person and has let his family down.Krishna then moves to Mumbai and works part time and clears civil exam and becomes a district collector.
