The story starts with a college group traveling to temples in a train and finally reaches its climax in a railway compartment. A college student Srikanth falls in love with his collegemate Kausalya. But her personal life is ridden with problems. Kausalya has an elder sister and a younger sister. Her elder sister is on the web of a goonda (Surya) and now the goonda has set his eyes on the other two sisters as well. Though Kousalya loves Srikanth she is unable to reach him due to this goon, and she is also not able to disclose her plight to her lover boy.
