It paints a stark portrait of how land and autonomy are taken through policy, narrative, and force. Watching the cycle of sanctioned cruelty repeat itself across history is as infuriating as ever.

- Stephen Pate19 gennaio 2026Palestine 36 is a riveting movie despite the anti-Jewish bias. The Partition obviously was a deeply wrenching experience for Palestinians although the movie doesn’t portray the reality that Jews and Arabs lived in the area in relative peace to centuries. The movie also glosses on over the reason Polish and Czech Jews were moving to the Middle East. Still worth watching to experience the Palestinian side of history.
- Jure4 gennaio 2026Not a masterpiece for sure, but a very important film that shows the history of Palestine before Israel was founded. The people there already foresaw what was going to happen to them and revolted against it, albeit unsuccessfully. So many parallels between how the British imperial forces behaved back then and how the IDF behave today.
