Paladina, a superhero with the powers of super speed, precognition, and the developing telekinesis, begins seeing flashes of not the future, but the present. When she fails a rescue attempt, she sees an alternate version of herself walking away. After other failings, she starts to doubt her powers and her own sanity. When she has another vision of the death of someone close to her, she confronts herself for one last decisive battle.
