- James SaenzApril 15, 2026“lisa, that was the best acting i’ve ever seen.” i went into this thinking i knew what to expect, but i really was so wrong. one hilarious chekhov’s gun after another, along with clever nonlinear storylines, that had my theater audience roaring with laughter. it’s also got some gnarly gore and body horror, and every comedic choice samara weaving makes is so pitch perfect. wonderful time at the movies. the fact that this is an american remake makes me really want to see the original norwegian film. p.s. shoutout finland i am in love with this beautiful country.
