Outpost
Diretto da Cho We Jun, Mahen BalaLance Corporal Yazzid is assigned to an isolated pillbox located along the Kuantan coast at the eve of the Japanese invasion and occupation of Malaya. Young and uptight, he quickly comes into confrontation with the nonchalant attitude of his trench-mate, veteran Private Othman. Life at the outpost proves to be not as straightforward as he had initially imagined it to be; and although joint-sentry responsibilities with Othman at the coastal station gradually becomes easier, their daily trivialities are about to become side notes to a moment in History. This story was inspired by the sinking during WW2 of the British Navy's HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales off the coast of Kuantan, Malaya in December 1941 by the Japanese Imperial Army Air Service.
