Where to Watch Old Dogs
- ZokkiieSeptember 24, 2026There are a few things I liked here. Robin Williams and John Travolta have some decent chemistry, and Seth Green probably gets the best material of the supporting cast. I also like the basic idea of two lifelong bachelors suddenly having to figure out how to take care of kids. There are a couple of genuinely funny moments, and the family side gives it a little more heart than the comedy itself probably deserves. Unfortunately, most of the jokes just fall flat. There’s way too much broad slapstick, repeated gags and lowbrow humor, while the story follows the usual “work vs. family” formula pretty much exactly as you'd expect. The movie also keeps forcing sentimental moments that never really earned the emotion. With Williams and Travolta together, this should have been much funnier. A couple of laughs, but mostly a pretty forgettable comedy.

- Mister ArnMay 25, 2025While this movie is about reuniting a family, it's not a family movie. I did find a couple of laughs, but wouldn't call it funny. It's not very good for the talent involved, and some of its humor is offensive.
