Off the Grid

Directed by Lary Sims
At first it seemed like it was nice, people moving off the grid for peace, to escape the anxiety of city life, to enjoy the beauty of nature and, yes to work hard to bring these dreams into being. I lived off the grid for 8 years in the 70's and know what's involved. As the show progressed the hate began to creep in, the politics, the I'm a patriot and you're not because I say so, this ruined it for me. There should have been many mentions of being helped and helping others get established and overcome difficulties, but there were not. The photography was beautiful and the music as well. This was a production with a political agenda - too bad.
