Ocean's Eleven Ratings & Reviews
Shmooflix

All the characters are beyond strong, all the actors are magnificent, and a fantastic plot. Script for truly mature people, all lines are great. This is not a mvoie for kids. Masterpiece.
New York Post
Archer Winsten
The picture is very plush... so much a display of performers who act as if a mere appearance would induce hysteria in the adoring public, that you wonder who's fooling whom.
7M Pictures
Kevin Carr
a classic film with plenty of spunk
Common Sense Media
Charles Cassady
Chummy caper comedy, mainly for Rat Pack fanciers.
TV Guide
Sinatra, Davis, and Martin performed their club acts at night and worked on this Las Vegas-set film during the day, and the good time they were having fairly jumps off the screen.
Variety
Variety Staff
Laboring under the handicaps of a contrived script, an uncertain approach and personalities in essence playing themselves, the production never quite makes its point, but romps along merrily unconcerned that it doesn't.
Chicago Reader
Jonathan Rosenbaum
Terminally boring.
Combustible Celluloid
Jeffrey M. Anderson
One suspects that the most memorable moments occurred off-camera.
New York Times
Bosley Crowther
Young people are likely to find this more appropriate and bewitching than do their elders. The latter are likely to feel less gleeful in the presence of heroes who rob and steal.
Lawrence Journal-World
Jon Niccum
Sluggishly paced, shoddily staged, and featuring a plot full of inconsistencies
Juicy Cerebellum
Alex Sandell
At least as entertaining as the remake. Probably better.
NUVO Newsweekly
Edward Johnson-Ott
Tepid. The idea is so much better than the execution.

The original Ocean's is fun, fun, fun.
