- Jamie Talbot5 July 2025After watching Oasis on Friday in Cardiff, it felt right finally getting around to watching this film. Really great documentary. Lots and lots of archival videos were used which I loved. The visuals used in part with the videos helped make it more watchable. I’m a bit surprised just by how much footage there was. No mention of the Blur rivalry which I think is actually a good thing as it means you are just thinking about Oasis, Liam and Noel throughout. I saw online that Whitecross originally had a cut which was 7-8 hours long - I would love to see that come out one day. For the length of the film, I was expecting to see details all the way through up until 2009 but the documentary ends at 1996 which is a bit of a shame. I would’ve liked to see what Liam and Noel’s thoughts were at the time in 2009. All in all, if you’re an Oasis fan, this is a must watch!
