Based on a Malay folklore, this movie tells the story of Pak Belalang and his son who conspire to portray the latter as an astrologer in an attempt to help out fellow villagers in trouble. Convinced by his actions, the Penghulu (Mayor) brings him to the royal palace to help solve a robbery but the situation turns complicated when their lies began unravelling.
