- MichielMay 10, 2025A very great movie actually based on a true story! Actors were great, the story amazing!! A feelgood movie for any night.
- tmaur55May 17, 2025What is life without Love, Family, Food and Nonnas? You’ll laugh and cry ❤️
- GillTAdamMay 12, 2025Think of Grumpy old Men, but for the grandmothers out there. Fantastic film that lands where you want it to, yet is warm enough to pull at your emotional heart strings. Honestly, I was shocked that was Talia Shire, who is always great. Lorraine Bracco may have stolen the show overall though. Great feel good film about family and traditions.
- barbb573d agoLove this movie!! I was born in Staten Island New York and this movie wants me to go back to visit and eat at this restaurant. ❤️ loved all the actors too!! Plus my husband is Italian and makes dishes like his mother made from meatballs to soups to cookies, all delicious. ❤️
- Marcelo Scatena3d agoMaybe it's because I started to cook and share food with people I know in the last few years. Maybe it's because I'm far from most of my friends and family. Maybe it's because the ladies in the movie felt very real and reminded me of my grandmothers. But I really enjoyed this movie. The plot is not the most complex or intriguing, and you shouldn't watch it for any twists or cutting edge filming techniques, but the sense of love and community it portrays, centered around food, is awe-inspiring. I want that in my life.
- jwevansMay 10, 2025Fabulous and fun. A must watch
- Tiffie StarchildJuly 27, 2025Such a sweet sweet film and you’ll especially love it if you’re a foodie! It made me wish I had an Italian nonna of my own, but by the end of the movie I totally remembered that I had my own grandma AND I have her recipes (I absolutely immediately burst into tears 😃). Low stakes (so won’t spike your cortisol) and Vince Vaughn’s performance was really enjoyable! What is this genre of movie called where it’s just kinda sweet and a vibe and not really that stressful? Give me more of these, please
- CozyTekMay 12, 2025A terrific cast paired with a beautiful true story.... What's not to love?
- DKMay 12, 2025Nonnas is a good, fun family movie that brings warmth and heart to the screen. The film does a great job incorporating Italian family dynamics and culture, both through its characters and its celebration of traditional cuisine. There’s an authenticity to how it portrays generational bonds and the love that flows through food. That said, a noticeable editing mistake in a key scene mid-film breaks immersion and detracts from the overall polish. It’s unfortunate, as it slightly undercuts an otherwise charming and well-executed experience. Still, Nonnas delivers on its promise — a feel-good, culturally rich film perfect for a family night in.
- daviereneeJuly 14, 2025I really wanted to like this. I mean, really, really, wanted to. The story was so fun, the characters were Nonnas, the ladies were who you needed, but for some reason, it didn’t work. Maybe it was the script. Maybe the direction. Maybe Vince Vaughn, he was not on his game here. Sadly, it didn’t suck me in. It just sucked.
- Karisma PuteraJuly 2, 2025A solid feel good cooking centered movie. Not as great as Chef but worth a watch. We all deserve a Nonna.
- W. Patrick LeBlancJune 28, 2025What a fun film! Great story.
- 7s7sJune 17, 2025I enjoyed the movie.
