- MrMitchieSeptember 24, 2025If you came to watch Jean Claude Van Damme then you may be disappointed because he really only appears in the last 15 minutes of the movie. Needless to say his performance is charismatic and you can tell that he was destined for future roles. His next film would be his first major role as lead actor in bloodsport. No retreat no surrender is about as camp as you can get for a low budget movie. It has however over time been seen as a cult classic.
- Jacob O’NealJune 13, 2025I’ll be short and sweet with this review - the acting and directing are terrible. It was shot like an old episode of The Streets Of San Francisco rather than a movie. The fight scenes were fun. If you want mindless action with little to nothing else, this is your movie. You can always fast forward through the talkie bits. Also, Van Damme is a bad guy in this. He shot this film around the same time he popped up as an extra in Breakin’.
