Had to do with the gang culture and what not of the streets and the vampire aspect could be interesting but then THE MESSAGE happened and OMG.... This is why we all are sick and tired of Hollywood. It became Evil white demons preying on the poor black neighbor hood and the evil cops saw them as trash and just was offensive. Also I don't think I have ever heard the N word said as mush as in this movie. OK so no one has to watch this. It ends up the only thing that can kill these vampires is Black history. I'm not joking. Its in a pamphlet. It talks about how the White demons with Iron teeth kill the black people and only the artifacts of the culture can harm them.. It couldn't have been good.. Hell it was in Sinners. This is just trash.
- Sean Talmadge13 maart 2026I had high hopes for this movie. A police division made up of vampires? Sounds cool! At least it would have been if not for the obvious agenda pushing message. The police are the "evil white colonizers", and the gang members are the heroes in a battle for the projects. An obvious push of identity politics using a formula that is old, tired, and frankly hasn't been working in Hollywood for years. But no matter how many box office bombs they produce they never learn their lesson and just keep recycling.
- ricomckee15 februari 2026Sheer disappointment. the movie had so much potential to be like Sinners. instead it dove head first into easy racial tropes for everyone in the cast, stupid dialogue, and horrendous waste of the talent that was in the film.

- KyGun10 februari 2026More crap from hollywood. Horrible just horrible. I did watch 40 minutes of it in hopes it would get better because I like or liked Justin Long. He can be funny and serious. This was just bad from start to finish. Well, up until 40 minutes. I finally stopped watching. I did try. I jumped forward 3 or 4 times and it seemed to be getting worse. Glad I didn't waste anymore time. I put "Chappie" on. Much better and more realistic.

- Spanktacular21 februari 2026Black Panther if it was good. Seriously, why all the negative reviews? It's a spectacular action and horror-adjacent flick. Not a think-piece and gets a bit goofy, but the cast/soundtrack/visuals are killer. I dig any time they frame existing concepts through a Black lens. Also has the benefit of triggering bootlicks and racists. Not to say all the criticism is from them, but... Go read the reviews. You can tell who doesn't like the movie for the writing, and who doesn't like it because they just don't like "certain groups".

It's just deep seeded hate shrouded by a thick veil of hypocrisy, and the illusion that it was somehow made in order to shed light on the darker parts of our society. The past should NEVER for one second be forgotten, but nor should it ever be used as a weapon to divide. Whether intentionally so or not. History is stained with the blood of those who thought they could force their personal beliefs on others. As a society we have an obligation to evolve and learn from our mistakes, and the mistakes of our forbearers. How can we ever hope to move forward as one, if we can't even understand that yelling the loudest is NOT the same as educating? Look at the "Woke movement" for a prime example. The more you force an issue down people's throats, the more you find that people who never took any issue with it before, are now being slapped in the face with it so much, and forced to take so much blame and responsibility for how the small few feel, it creates resentment. Thus widening the divide even further.

Every single person involved with this film is now included in my list of “favorite people on Earth.” Justin Long is great at playing the “meek” piece of shit in films ie Barbarian. Keep ‘em coming!! FlyLo is hilarious.
