Night Always Comes Ratings & Reviews
- Whids11 January 2026Superb movie. Superb acting and breathless pacing which takes you on every step of the journey, feeling every bit of pain and frustration along the way. Especially if you’ve been that close to losing everything and/or have an alcoholic parent that lives in another reality and you can’t fail to disappoint. Best movie I’ve seen in a long time. No idea why it’s got such low ratings but Im guessing it’s not for fans of Fast & Furious style action. If you like low budget, gritty realism with heart, watch this but don’t forget to breath out occasionally.
- Monkey See! Monkey Review!!1 September 2025If there was a movie of a “Soft White Underbelly” interviewee this would be it! Night Always Comes begins as a tedious, almost two-hour-long slog, but it eventually shifts into a more engaging narrative. However, it’s a journey that doesn't lead to a satisfying destination. The film is a relentless look at someone's dismal life, and while it had some tense moments, it left me with a deeply unsettling feeling—the kind that makes you think, "Life sucks sometimes." It's a film that will likely resonate with some viewers, but leave others feeling like their time was wasted.
- PlexecutionerX20 August 2025Very suspenseful... keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire movie. Only thing lacking was the ending.
- Richard Scott Long31 August 2025Terrible movie. Kept waiting for something to happen... oh well
- jacxcx28 November 2025A good film with beautiful themes, a bit flat in some parts but with a wonderful and meaningful ending. And “Come Back” the end credits song, is simply a masterpiece.
- Kevin Wertz24 August 2025Slow boring movie with a story that's nothing more than a waste of time.
- Cineit.blog14 October 2025This movie tries to tackle the housing crisis but ends up being a depressing mess for all the wrong reasons. The story is just plain dumb. A woman makes a series of unbelievably bad decisions, including confronting dangerous people, all to buy a house she can't afford. The family relationships feel fake, the characters are unlikable, and a key betrayal comes out of nowhere, completely ruining the plot. It’s a frustrating and illogical film with some of the laziest writing I've seen in a while. A total waste of time.
- Spoons15 August 2025Vanessa Kirby tries her best, but The Night Always Comes is a pale echo of Uncut Gems or Good Time. Miserable, slow, and forgettable. Watch the real thing instead.
