Ne Zha II Ratings & Reviews
- Blair9 augustus 2025Cool fight scenes and beautiful CGI. The story and world building are a bit lacking and confusing like the first.
- Kristian Diamantis6 april 2026Excellent animated movie, certainly better than the first one. Certainly hit us in the feels.

- Varun4 maart 2025I watched the first movie yesterday, I was not at all expecting the movie to be this huge of a step up. Watched it in IMAX and HOLY SHIT, the animation is unbelievably good and action goes absolutely bonkers. There were so many mindblowing and beautiful scenes. The story is unpredictable so it was super engaging throughout. The humour was also really good, Hollywood should be taking lessons. The sound design in IMAX deserves praise, it was super punchy and impactful. There’s so many unique characters as well, the movie knows how to blend in its own quirky ideas into a mythological fantasy setting. Every group of characters has a strong motivation to persevere, so this raises the moral stakes of the film and every single fight (there are so many) is flush with emotion. This movie is just amazing and I implore everyone to go see it in IMAX as soon as you can before it’s out, especially non-Asians need to give this a shot, I was the only brown person in the theatre lol. And the first movie is also enjoyable. I’m officially a big fan. Now I have to agonisingly wait for the next movie and Beyond The Spiderverse, but it’s nice to see animated franchises dominating the conversation and hopefully teaching a lesson to all other genres of movies. Also this movie has one of the best post-credit scenes I’ve seen recently, I had a good laugh.
- osafah12 februari 2026Loved it
- Fedor14 januari 2026Worthless. The storyline is just fighting and fighting. It doesn't even make sence why everyone just keeps on fighting. Graphics are most of the time good, but the people just look like dolls. Total waste of time, unless perhaps you are from China and know something of the backstory.
- Narendra31 augustus 2025Just Awesome before you watch it watch old one
- Dirashi6 augustus 2025Colorful, Funny, and both the combat and animation’s art style are top tier. The film is long but worth it 100%

- Hakihiko2 januari 2026A Visually Dazzling and Heartfelt Continuation "Ne Zha II" is an ambitious and beautifully crafted continuation of one of modern animation's most vibrant mythic worlds. While it stands strongly on its own, it also deepens the emotional resonance and thematic richness introduced in its predecessor. The result is a film that feels both grand in scale and carefully attuned to its characters - a combination that makes it genuinely engaging from start to finish. Visually, the movie is striking. The animation sparkles with creativity and precision, showcasing breathtaking sequences that balance explosive action with graceful movement. The color palette, design work, and overall visual clarity elevate every scene, giving the film a cinematic energy that rivals major international animated releases. The emotional core of "Ne Zha II" is equally compelling. The characters are well drawn - not just in appearance, but in motivation and growth. Their journeys carry genuine weight, and for a story grounded in mythic stakes, the human (and mythical) emotions at play remain convincing and affecting. The music stands out as a strong anchor for the film's tone. It enhances the emotional beats effectively, enriching both the quieter, introspective moments and the more intense, dramatic ones. The score feels thoughtfully placed, supporting the narrative without ever overpowering it. While the plot follows some familiar lines of development, it does so with enough care and clarity that the experience never feels repetitive or predictable. Instead, the story unfolds with a steady confidence, building anticipation and emotional investment in a way that feels satisfying and earned. In the end, "Ne Zha II" is a richly animated, emotionally engaging adventure that strikes a fine balance between spectacle and heart. It's a testament to how far animated storytelling can go when ambition, craftsmanship, and character insight come together - making it a thoroughly enjoyable watch.
