En 1942, dans le Pacifique, un navire japonais transporte des prisonniers de guerre vers les territoires occupés où ils sont réduits en esclavage. Après avoir été torpillés par des sous-marins alliés, un soldat japonais et un prisonnier de guerre britannique échouent sur une île déserte, mais découvrent rapidement qu’ils ne sont pas seuls. Ils sont poursuivis par une créature mythologique féroce, l’Orang Ikan, un hybride homme-poisson. Incapables de communiquer dans la langue de l’autre, les deux ennemis doivent s’unir pour survivre au monstre.

- SirMonkalot10 janvier 2026I’m a huge sucker for creature features, and this one is set during WWII?! Sign me up! Loved the practical effects, gore and the fact that it was a dude in a monster suit was the cherry on top! I would have rated this much higher and I could have seen myself rewatching this many times, but one thing really ruined this movie for me: the way the film was edited. I can’t stand that most shots in this movie last barely 1-2 seconds. The cuts are too fast and I found it super distracting. You don’t need to cut to 4 different angles of the same scene. No, just stop. Saito + Bronson = ❤️

- @F_ReK.i5--9 janvier 2026I loved this. We finally find out what caused Tristan's PTSD that he brought back from the war. Clearly a low budget based on writing and monster effects but these two did a great job of acting, getting us to know and understand them despite the writing budget. Very entertaining if you are not distracted by some of the writer's choices, which I was not. I can honestly say I'll watch this again but not a third time 😉 5 out of 5 stars because of how entertaining I found it, not because of great writing, or character development, etc.
- Tubz30 décembre 2025Standard B-movie with limited script and even less on budget for CGI. Luckily the man in the monster suit was decent and the WW2 era Japanese uniforms and weapons spot on. Movie kind of reminds you of a "The Asylum" production.

- ርልዪረ26 juillet 2025No pun intended - since Predator came out many moons ago (decades actually) any movie that is close to what it did, will be compared with it. You know: if it bleeds, we can kill it. Same applies here and again no pun intended. Just saying for arguments sake and all that. Now I do not remember the budget that Predator had, but it was big budget (Schwarzenegger just to name one of the actors in it) - and this right here is anything but. So if you consider the budget this had, this is really well done! And while the story may not have many surprises, the effects work as intended. Also the run time is short enough - so I don't think anyone will be annoyed at any point. Action and stunts are good too - the make up/costume is also quite good ... yes you can tell it is a human in a suit ... but suspension of disbelief is needed with most movies anyway, this is no different in any regard. Just go along with the ride ... not a holiday vacation of course.
