Mercy Ratings & Reviews
- hhall81d agoI don't typically write reviews. I like something every now and then. Just felt like adding one. This movie kinda caught me by surprise. It's futuristic AI concept along with Chris Pratt bringing it to life, is totally unique and really makes you think. Give it a try. Sorry so long.
- tom_wenJanuary 31, 2026Worth your time!
- vamsi583d agoDangerous AI: It acts only with facts.
- Amir AnimashaunJanuary 30, 2026Woahh this movie was thrilling those last 20 minutes was absolute peak. I know the volume is quite controversial in terms of cinema however it’s used smartly in this movie and actually pretty cool and useful. Chris Pratt delivers a solid performance in this murder mystery type movie and the twist at the end I did not coming.
- Karen Nakamura3d agoTemu version of Minority Report but still has a modicum of suspense in the middle. Unravels at the end and you can sense the director just wanted to get it done and go home. Hard to feel any feelings towards any of the characters as they seem like they’re dialing it in. Sad when the AI Rebecca Ferguson is the one with most emotional reactions.
- Miguel_AssuncaoFebruary 17, 2026Very good movie... 😅

- KGM SOSA5d agoMercy was decent, not overly spectacular but pretty decent, I did appreciate its grounded, highly realistic dystopian outlook on a potential real depiction of the future of court proceedings & surveillance, it shows red zones akin to locked down 15 minute cities, government & LEO surveillance on populations, a total elimination of privacy, & most importantly the integration of AI in court proceedings; these are unfortunately the things the government is trying to turn into a reality. Whether you agree with my assessment or not, the film does a good job of presenting a version of the future that feels plausible, which adds an extra layer of engagement. As for the movie I deem it as what that abomination that ‘War of the Worlds’ (2025) was trying to be, this is because the film plays out entirely through livestreams, cctv footage, FaceTime calls, Ring cameras, computer operating systems, etc. However, ‘Mercy’ actually does it well, unlike ‘War of the Worlds’ which was a disaster of a movie. The main twist as to who the culprit is was very predictable & me & my dad called it very early on, however to the films credit it follows up with second twist which made up for it by being very unexpected, I was initially let down by the first twist so the second twist really makes up for it & restored my interest in the film. Overall this was a decent film worth a one time watch with very little rewatchability except for the fact that it is the exact type of dystopian surveillance state many of us preach against on X, this film could potentially be useful to incite discussion in that area however I don’t think the film is trying to be a conversation starter but rather merely entertainment, which it did its job & ultimately did entertain. My rating is a 6/10 (Decent / Okay movie with some good bits)
- Johnny WalkerFebruary 5, 2026Gripping from beginning to the end! ⭐

- carter2882January 28, 2026Mercy is a thrilling ride that will keep you guessing from beginning to end. The film has a very intriguing premise that will get you hooked immediately after hearing about it. The film is very creative with the cinematography and the visuals, since the film revolves around someone looking at a screen for 95% of the film. The performances were really good in here, and made the film actually pretty intense, the film overall is pretty thrilling. The mystery is really good with a pretty good twist at the end that actually shocked me. So overall a really good film that I had a good time with and just a great start to 2026.

- findersMarch 29, 2026Solid idea, great action movie. Some of the acting a wee bit cheesy, but fast-paced and watchable.
