- Rowan KrzysiakFebruary 13, 2025I was excited to the point that Mary Poppins makes her underwhelming entrance. Everything is a bit off and/or just not good enough. The story and characters are weak, the children are annoying and Mary Poppins, once practically perfect now comes across like some condescending Thatcher. The set-pieces and accompanying songs are also poor. Really disappointed. Err on the side of avoidance.
- ርልዪረJanuary 30, 2025☂️👜 It has been many years since I first watched Mary Poppins, Julie Andrews version; so wasn't sure about whether this one would come close to the original. Actually, it is very entertaining with a great cast, complimented by a small appearance by Dick Van Dyke who appeared in the very first Mary Poppins. Emily Blunt plays a great part along with a strong supporting cast. Music and songs are very good too, will be great entertainment for the family. Film buffs will also welcome the "Making of"... which is very interesting. On 4K HD Picture and sound are superb, especially if you have a Home Cinema set up which can access Dolby Atmos sound. There is also a copy on Blu-Ray for those who do not possess a 4K Player. An excellent buy.
