M3GAN Ratings & Reviews
- The Gutter MonkeyOctober 17, 2024If Chucky had sex with Spielberg's AI and they had a boring, homicidal, gymnast baby that no one liked... this would be it.
- Dj FlexoOctober 13, 2024Love it I can't wait for 2.0
- kikebaraSeptember 7, 2025Love it, best 😍.
- Eric BakkeJanuary 26, 2025A pretty silly and fun, and sometimes scary thriller that surprisingly delivers a meaningfull message but at the same time doesn't take itself seriously at all.
- grahamwaters730July 12, 2025fun and chilling sooooo good
- UrhasSeptember 5, 2025I am pleasantly surprised. I approached this movie skeptically, but after watching it I was satisfied. The acting of the main characters is poor, but the doll is the best.
- Riley Winston-frankAugust 26, 2025My favorite lines from M3gan is “I will rip your head from your neck” and “You ungrateful little bitch” loved it!!
- Kevin WardJuly 4, 2025Great time at the theater. Glad I saw this with a packed audience because most of what works with M3GAN are her subtle glances and her diminutive but foreboding dialogue quips that suggest to the audience the horrors that are about to come. And the audience was eating it all up before even a drop of blood was spilled. Unfortunately, there’s not a ton of blood that’s actually spilled. M3GAN definitely relies more on its humorous tone and fun character design than it’s scares or it’s blood. I saw this with my wife and daughter, though, who aren’t very big into horror and they both had a blast. So while maintaining the PG-13 rating definitely comes at a cost for blood lusting horror fans, I think there’s still lots of fun to be had and hopefully the rating will allow M3GAN to reach a broader audience. Fun experience with some great laughs and some precious needle drops also. I would recommend seeing this in a packed audience if you can. Oh yeah, and as always…don’t watch the trailers if you’ve somehow managed to avoid them. They definitely show a couple moments that would be much more effective as a surprise.
- Nic ArrisJune 22, 2025I really liked! It’s like Chucky with Ai!

- MonimumAugust 2, 2025Really good and thrilling movie, can't wait for the sequel
- flybeAugust 9, 2025I found this movie to be a bit frustrating. Characters are written less smart in order to make the plot work. This is typical for horror movies and good writers can get around that. This isn’t the case here. Also the movie is very predictable with its plot points which makes for a boring watch.
- UniqueMovies Deb HJuly 30, 2025I love the way Megan connected with a daughter 💫✨💫 And I also loved her singing as well 💫✨💫 The animations were pretty cool 💫✨💫 A must see and worth the watch 💫✨💫
- jackmeatJuly 16, 2025My quick rating - 6.5/10. Entertaining, although an extremely tame horror flick, written in part by James Wan. I am sure that you have a pretty good grasp of what this one is about, so I'll skip that formality. I did, however, enjoy the extra bit of time they took in developing the relationship between the child (Violet McGraw) and our 10K dollar toy robot, M3GAN (Amie Donald). Both kids play their respective roles very well and definitely need a different skill set to do so. The story itself does take time to introduce the few characters there are and give them the personalities needed for the roles. Instead of everyone just being fodder to a killer robot running around mindlessly slaughtering everyone (as I kind of thought and hoped I would get), instead, there is a more personal and at times, touching part to the whole thing. No matter if it did have that feel, the doll often just looked so damn creepy. The mix of CGI and live just worked well to give a spooky vibe. The emotionless expressions, such as the one below, just stare through you as she is plotting her next move, all the while learning everything on the go. There was a lot of thrown-in for convenience to the story, which I am sure was completely necessary due to time constraints. I think the parental message here is quite clear, in case you thought this wasn't trying to tell you something. Your kids will latch onto whatever or whoever shows them affection and take it to the extreme, in this case, an A.I. doll and not a cult or anonymous chat room "friend." It has a very big budget feel for a campy type of story that I am sure helps in making it a hit, and it helps that it has built-in TikTok appeal from the get-go. I am sure you will hear both ends of the spectrum on this one since many probably thought as I did and wanted more blood, while others may be distracted by the fact that their own parenting skills are being mocked so clearly here. But I took it for what it was and that is a modern story of the killer doll that surely isn't anything new but has enough dark humor and overall appeal to be satisfying and I am hoping that M3GAN 2.0 does get a bit darker and "stabbier" I was thinking about this last night and it was more like Wes Craven's Deadly Friend to me than Child's Play which is the more obvious comparison. And both of those definitely took the more brutal route in their stories.
