Lord of War Ratings & Reviews
- stevengonzalez789February 23, 2026Such a Great movie - Recommend
- VandytDecember 27, 2025The best Cage movie—nothing more to add
- EmperorAlexsanderJuly 18, 2025An absolute great film, Nicholas Cage is an all time classic actor. There wasn't a single moment that I wasn't engrossed and entertained, I love the common theme of these type of illegal enterprise media having the primary downfall always be the family, whether it's Breaking Bad, Lord of War or (Not really) Narcos. It is shot well, acted well and written well. (P.S. Can't believe we traded him for Brittney Griner)
- Andrew CloutJuly 4, 2025So relevant for today! Another rewatch and I would recommend everyone to watch it.
- Ichigo KurusakiMay 1, 2025This is Nicholas Cage’s best movie, and he has been “According to IMDb, he has accrued 116 onscreen credits since his debut in 1981 “ And this is the best one
- cferacoSeptember 22, 2025Nic Cage sells weapons like Costco sells hotdogs — endless supply, questionably cheap, and somehow legal.
- nullDecember 10, 2025A movie as immediately relevant today as it was upon its release back in 2005. I remember watching this one as a freshly minted 20 something year old veteran and feeling no sense of peace regarding the subject matter or the lack of resolution in the end. This film should be required reading (viewing?) for anyone who wants to profit from war.
- AtzeGoldDecember 3, 2025Nicolas Cage has the role of the warlord perfectly on it. super captivating film
- Tow CheckSeptember 21, 2025Feels rushed
- jagdeep5March 22, 2025Brilliant. Complex and interleaved storytelling. An important political subject told through a personal and ultimately hypocritical human lens.
- fqfmmAugust 26, 2025Great movie.
- Richard GobinFebruary 23, 2025This movie is brilliant and one of Nicholas Cage's best performance.
- Tyler SFebruary 22, 2025👍👍 9/10
- jamessa84June 22, 2025Although I love Nicholas Cage's work and I have a GR8 deal of respect for him, this was, I my opinion, one of his best movies.
- P. LoganMarch 16, 2025I watched this movie as a kid and loved it. Watching it now, It's clear that it's just a *bad* movie. The cinematography is awful. The story jumps from plot to plot, lacking any real cohesion. Nicolas Cage is very wooden with his acting, as are the other characters. It's a great premise, harmed by bad directing and cinematography.
