Liberation Unit is a World War 2 documentary about the US Army 71st Division liberating Gunskirchen Lager Concentration Camp in Austria In May 1945. Surviving soldiers and captive camp survivors share their memories during a reunion held in 2010. The films main message is to validate the occurrence of the Holocaust and remind people that the liberties we experience today came at a cost to millions. It also reminds us that history can test us again as tyrants can return in different guises every generation. The film messages that it will up to us to fight for our liberty.
