Nonostante Clyde li abbia visti, riconosciuti e denunciati, il processo non avrà mai luogo, perché l'ambizioso procuratore distrettuale di Philadelphia, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), patteggia per una pena più leggera con l'avvocato difensore e il peggiore dei due criminali viene rilasciato. Tradito dal sistema giudiziario nel quale credeva, Clyde decide di vendicarsi della grave ingiustizia facendola pagare a chiunque abbia partecipato a quell'accordo.

Gerard Butler is brilliant in this role, intense, calculated, and impossible to look away from. Not usually a Jamie Foxx fan, but he absolutely deserves credit here too. Dark, satisfying, and wildly rewatchable.

- Dave27 giugno 2025Im always a fan of the movies made where you can relate to the bad guy. This really brings that home. Throughout most of the movie I find myself rooting for him, even when hes killing people who outside of negligence of their duties appear to be good themselves. His vengeance is brutal and very relatable given the offenses commited against him. Ive always enjoyed this movie and will continue to for years to come.
