Juni 2025I downloaded this movie to my iPad to watch on my flight home and had the AUDACITY to think that I was gonna be able to multitask and get some work done at the same time 😂 This movie is SO GOOD and pulled me in literally from the first second. There are so many quick little moments and details that you really can’t look away because you WILL miss something not only subtle but also really cute because omg this movie is so adorable. It has a modern animation style (like Into the Spider-Verse and Entergalactic) with HEAVY anime influences. The fight scenes? So dope. The MUSIC? I am ASCENDING. I am on another plane. I’m sorry, K-Pop, I didn’t know you got like that - consider me a fan from this point on. I really loved all of the characters, especially the demon cat thing (you’ll know it when you see it and you’ll love it too). I also think it’s dope when the sidekick characters are as dope and entertaining as the main protagonist, I LOVE THEMMMM I cannot recommend this movie enough!

Even though musicals aren't my usual genre, this one has it all no matter if you're looking at the music, story, animation casting and so on, it's genuinely an incredible movie and its more than likely going to go down as the most iconic animated film of the 2020s which is a title I think it deserves. The only complaint I have with this movie is that its going to be a long wait before we get to see anything from its sequel.

- Corlaedi18. März 2026I must admit, that I laughed out loud when I saw the title of this movie. But then I watched the trailer AND realised, that "Golden" actually is from the movie. So I gave it a shot. And WOW. Was I surprised. Beautiful. Empowering, funny as hell ❤️👌🏻

It's not really my favorite genre, but I wasn't bored while watching it and it was engaging. It was quite good. Of course, it's a bit childish, but still. I weren't bored. I gave it a 6 out of 10.

Shoutout to Maggie Kang on her Directorial debut, especially with her coming up in the VFX industry as an actual artist (Storyboarder) — that’s incredible! Let’s break down this joint! 🤩 Animation was clean and unique, stylish and fun — and those action sequences gave me CHILLS! 🎬 The visuals were on another level. Just a feast for the eyes, a spectacle to behold. The lighting captivated me with my jaw hanging open. Maggie definitely kept her finger on the pulse of Korean culture, from traditional to contemporary, and it shined through immaculately! 💎 The original songs were crafted with so much emotion and energy, and when the vocals hit, it felt like I was touched by a divine entity! Breath. Taking. I immediately purchased the soundtrack after those dope credits rolled! 🎤 And the story, my gosh, the story has SO MUCH HEART — comedy, ferocity, sadness, identity, betrayal, sacrifice, love…all of it was there! That finale touched my soul and brought literal tears to my eyes. I loved every moment! My daughters loved every moment! 💝 To the creators behind this work of art: THANK YOU! 🙏 This film is an 11/10! My new favorite animated film ever, right up there with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse! Sony Pictures Animation are the absolute GOATS! Hands down! 🐐⭐️

Februar 2026Great movie all in all, pacing is good, characters were great, lots of bright colours and fast scenes which appeal to younger audiences and the energy throughout K-pop Demon Hunters was great as well. The music was indeed catchy to a certain extent and Sony Pictures Animation outdid themselves once again.
