Directed by Ahmad Reza DarvishIn the 1980s, Reza finds his beloved Iran engulfed by war with Iraq. Though he has a child on the way, he decides to do his duty and join in the fighting to defend his country. While he is away, his wife dies in childbirth, and Reza himself is captured as a prisoner of war. A woman named Shokooh find the child, now ostensibly an orphan, and raises her as her own. Years later, Reza returns home determined to find his daughter and take up the mantle of the father she has never known.
