- ZokkiieAugust 15, 2026Not the flashiest mobster movie, but it's a really solid one. Ray Stevenson is great as Danny Greene, and it's genuinely sad knowing he's gone. He carries the movie really well, and the cast around him is stacked too, with Christopher Walken, Vincent D'Onofrio, Val Kilmer and others all bringing something to it. The story is pretty straightforward, but I liked the gritty feel and the way it doesn't try to make Greene into some larger-than-life gangster. There are plenty of brutal moments and some good action, although the movie can feel a little rushed and doesn't always give the supporting characters enough room. Still, a very underrated crime movie with a great performance from Stevenson.
