- PhysicalMedia4LifeMay 8, 2026This is one of those movies that I respect a lot more than I actually enjoy!! I find "Joan Of Arc 1948" and I mean this with the upmost respect to be very dated in comparison to a lot of the older films that came out during this era. The best example of that would be Spartacus with kirk Douglas, that film only came out 12 years after this; and Spartacus still holds up now unfortunately Joan Of Arc doesn't. However I do think that Ingrid Bergman was absolutely fantastic as Joan and it's her performance that really carries this movie.
