- carter2882February 4, 2026Idle Hands is a really fun horror comedy. The cast is really good in this film and all deliver hilarious performances. The film overall is very funny and made me laugh several times. The film also contains some good kills and gore, enough to also make a horror fan happy. The film also has a romance that is actually pretty hilarious. So overall a really fun movie that doesn’t take itself seriously.

Devon Sawa’s physicality is what I remembered most before this revisit, but the rest of it holds up really well still, also. It’s a great late 90’s cast of actors in the midst of having their moment. Alba, Green, Fox. Always love Fred Willard and Joey Slotnick appearances. Awesome pick. A worthy rewatch.
