This is a painfully slipshod production, with its eccentricity (werewolf nuns! pregnant lycanthropes with kangaroo-like pouches! Barry Humphries in full Dame Edna regalia!) the only thing saving it from complete ruin.

Incomprehensible werewolf awfulness. (Still better than Part 2 though.)

Really, was there any point, after the first?

It's quite hard to pinpoint if Howling III is a bad film or a good one. Like the second in the series, it's mostly just a weird one. In the end, the only question that matters is: Is it entertaining? And the answer is yes. Yes, it is.

It wants to be a psychological thriller, a horror romance, a satire of horror movies, and a werewolf picture all in one and fails to deliver on these aspects two fold.

A strange race of human-like marsupials appear suddenly in Australia, and a sociologist who studies these creatures falls in love with a female one. Is this a dangerous combination?
