- Hipster ZOMBIEFebruary 1, 2025Angel Studios has to be given credit for trying to branch out to other genre of films besides feel good Christian stories that have been done to death. However, the concept is better than the execution. The film serves better as the first episode of a streaming series than a film. Maybe that’s why the sequel series is also now streaming Angel Studios app.

I think three people got shot in the whole thing and only one of them died. This whole movie looks like it should’ve been a TV show spread over a season of 23 minute episodes … Just a terrible movie

Here is it flat out in a list: 1: religious nonsense 2: overacting by 99% of the cast (lead "operator" is a real piece of....work - if you want the series to be successful (skydaddy network) - REPLACE that role with anyone else 3: "30 days later" on-screen and dialog says "you've been a sleep for 10 days" 4: NOT a movie about HOMESTEADing 5: according to this movie (show) step one to being a homesteader, be richer than 99% of folks 6: religious nonsense If you haven't seen it yet...and you're NOT religious, I'd advise against it. If you ARE religious, I'd advise against it...you'll find it violent and you'd be offended by the "interracial couple" as one religious reviewer posted 🙄.
