Set in a senior high school class, J.J. pursues the girlfriend of a rival from a higher clique.
- Rob MacKinnonDecember 14, 2025A very clichéd and silly, yet very amiable made-for-TV high school comedy featuring a whole lotta sit-com stars of the day, and of the past. It’s definitely very ‘80s. It’s helped immeasurably by the easy charm and like-ability of Michael J. Fox. Anthony Edwards gives a fun turn as a stereotypical preppy snob, and Crispin Glover is great as a dorky weirdo. Nice to see him and Fox onscreen together two years before Back to the Future. The film certainly does not break any new ground, but it’s a mildly entertaining hangout.
