Le docteur David Callaway, récemment veuf, essaie désespérément de renouer le contact avec sa fille de neuf ans, Emily, après la mort tragique de sa femme.Après plusieurs mois de traitement psychiatrique avec le docteur Katherine Carson, une des anciennes étudiantes de David, Emily semble réussir à vivre avec le traumatisme, et semble prête à redémarrer une nouvelle vie.David, son père, décide de quitter New York pour une petite ville pour solidifier leur rapport père fille. Trouble Jeu Notations et commentaires

    A pretty run of the mill thriller/horror of the early 2000's. Slow burning, relatively creepy, but the build up leads to a bit of a flat final run in. The end sequence (UK) also feels a bit tacked on for an, 'oh wow' moment, that is more meh, than anything else. De Niro never feels particularly believable as the father, and the supporting cast are too sporadic in appearance for you to have any real feeling for. Fanning is excellent, and shows real fear and terror in most of her scenes, of which she steals. All in all, a decent thriller, which keeps you watching, but not overly gripped.
