Max is still living with his parents at the age of twenty, who want nothing more than him to find a way into the normal working life. But Max rather drums in clubs to electronic music and wants to apply to a music academy. His father sees his last career chance in his own insurance company. Everybody would be happy if Max took the job - everybody but him. Max is undecided, because he can feel that his parents only mean well for him. While Max is fighting for his dream, his fear of a decision grows. When his personal plans threaten to fail, he escapes into a illusory world, which becomes the solution for his problems and he falls ill with a psychosis. At the edge between reality and illusion Max gets confronted with death. Can he be able to fulfill his lifelong dream?
