Halo Legends Ratings & Reviews
- flavo43November 24, 2025Halo Legends is a fascinating anthology that brings the Halo universe to life through the unique visions of several renowned Japanese anime studios. Each vignette explores a different corner of the franchise’s mythology, adding depth and texture in ways the games alone couldn’t. You get everything from the ancient origins of the Flood and the founding of the Covenant, to poignant looks at the humanity and sacrifice of the Spartans, to stories centered on the honour and legacy of the Arbiters. There’s even a bit of comedic relief, showing the franchise isn’t afraid to poke fun at itself. What makes Halo Legends so enjoyable is how it pays homage to beloved characters and lore while expanding the universe just a little bit more. The shifting art styles and tones keep every segment fresh, and even if some entries resonate more strongly than others, the collection as a whole feels like a love letter to Halo fans. It’s a creative, enriching companion to the games.

- olivermcdonnellOctober 23, 2025Absolutely AWESOME, despite it being made by 343. For any halo fan, this is amazing. As for other people who haven’t played the games, they probably wouldn’t understand.
