Grindhouse Ratings & Reviews
- SirMonkalot3d agoI don’t find that these two films worked well together as a double feature. That being said, I would have personally chosen Death Proof as the first film because it’s a slower paced movie. Planet Terror is a much more thrilling film, better suited to keep your attention after Death Proof. I preferred Planet Terror and I’m kind of shocked that Quentin Tarantino wrote and directed Death Proof. It might be my least favourite of his films. Don’t think I’ll ever rewatch these two as a double feature.

- Dan S TurpinFebruary 4, 2025A wonderful throwback to the sleazy drive-in and grindhouse days is fun; Planet Terror is a blast and truly inspired. Death Proof is weak. Pointless, endless talking, and forgettable despite a fun and rare villain turn from the movie god Kurt Russel.
