Greenland Ratings & Reviews
- Dan Dease2d agoGood movie. Wasn’t over the top with special effects and Doomsday. Made you think about some things. Definitely worth a watch. Looking forward to the sequel.
- Patrick WaiDecember 21, 2025The movie was better the first time around. With Greenland 2 coming out soon decided to re-watch this. For some reason just couldn't really get into it - there was just no emotional connection with the characters. I don't think casting Gerard Butler was the right choice... he just seems a little unhinged, as if he can blow at any time. It's always fun to see how the Director shows the end of the world.
- jackmeatApril 4, 2025My quick rating - 6.6/10. I personally enjoyed this one a lot. It was a good use of coincidence and bringing something that is plausible to occur. I also believe there are black spots like this now and ready to be used if need be. Who knows. Gerald Butler is the father who is doing everything he can to get his family to safety when an apocalyptic event is on its way. And when this meteor hits the Earth, it is all over unless you are chosen to be filtered into these bunkers to rebuild the planet after the annihilation. This movie focuses on getting there at all costs and avoiding everyone who is NOT chosen as well. Overall, it was just really well done, from scenes and locations to camera work, down to the individual characters they meet along the way. It definitely would've done well at the box office as it had all you would need for a semi-successful flick. Check it out when you get a chance; you would be let down.
- Shaun McMillanDecember 18, 2025Quite entertained throughout the movie.
- Robert LileDecember 6, 2025This will make you ask, could it happen? Are we prepared for an event such as this one? The graphics are stellar!

- filmaddict007May 13, 2025Greenland is a pretty good disaster movie that delivers more emotion than you’d expect. It has some really intense moments, and it does a great job of making you care about the main family. You genuinely feel bad for what they’re going through, and you really want them to make it out alive. The film keeps the tension up and throws in some realistic chaos that adds to the urgency. The only thing it’s kind of missing is personality. It plays things a little safe and straightforward, and while that works for the story, it doesn’t leave a huge impression in terms of style or uniqueness. Still, overall, it’s solid. It’s emotional, tense, and way more engaging than a lot of movies in the disaster genre. Definitely worth a watch.
