I put this one on the back burner for years after hearing about the extreme level of gore and intensity. I reluctantly watched it thinking it would be too much to bare while eating my freshly made Reuben. To my surprise I found it surprisingly easy to watch and the gore to be mostly tasteful albeit detailed. As a big fan of the punk genre and a socialist who has had several run-ins with neo-nazis at shows I absolutely loved the spirit of the film. It's like Minor Threat in visual form. Raw, visceral, anti-authoritarian and concise. I honestly found it easier to watch than Blue Ruin because I'm always down to watch nazis get jacked up.
