Green Book
Directed by Peter FarrellyTony Lip, a bouncer in 1962, is hired to drive pianist Don Shirley on a tour through the Deep South in the days when African Americans, forced to find alternate accommodations and services due to segregation laws below the Mason-Dixon Line, relied on a guide called The Negro Motorist Green Book.

- tellumAugust 17, 2025I will say that this movie does a good job touching people who otherwise are not the most considerate when it comes to racial or gay prejudice. This movie has flaws, and it’s a fair statement that white people appreciate it more than black people, and there’s a reason for that. At the very least the movie makes suburbanites think for a minute.
