Full Metal Jacket Ratings & Reviews
- sopulaFebruary 11, 2026two very chilling payoffs all of the boys remind you of real life people you may have met and especially the big boy prvt pile who somehow was perfectly portrayed as a realistic misunderstood potentially unstable man who really did not need what he got very good
- runinhotJuly 8, 2025Me love this movie long time!!
- ርልዪረFebruary 23, 2025It was AMAZING! It teaches me a lot about what they were like in war. I am actually learning about it right now in school and this movie helped me get an A+ on my science paper! Thank you so much to everyone who made this movie it really helped me out in school and in life. It was a great plot twist when the "fat guy" was getting punished in really terrible ways and then killed there captain and then killed himself wow I thought he would just be happy that he learned how to move his gun but I was wrong....... I am not gonna spoil anymore so if you see this before the movie........................................... GO WATCH IT IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

- alexvla8December 4, 2025Masterpiece
- darsanMay 26, 2025"the dead know only one thing: it's better to be alive." a great war film by stanley kubrick.
- SamNovember 17, 2025five stars for the first half, one and a half stars for the second. the second half felt like an extremely generic war movie
- andrewAugust 16, 2025my confusions of honor were abundant, but after watching this film i feel myself now enlightened to how the nation’s hierarchy of reverence descends in order: billionaires -> athletes -> rockstars -> actors -> millionaires -> and only then, public servants and veterans. what shocked me most was not the brutality of the marines’ training, but how a society that sends its young men to war seems to save its deepest admiration for those who never leave the stage.
- Paul SchwartzNovember 4, 2025The boot camp part takes me right back to 18 years old every single time, i find the movie compelling and the message of duality really comes into play
- Splitvision89September 17, 2025It's a movie that is hard to put in words. I hate it but also loved it.
- SniffinTroutSeptember 7, 2025Kind of a depressing movie now I think about it🤣 still a classic
- LeeAugust 15, 2025Overrated like most Kubrick films.
- Short ReviewsJuly 1, 2025Kubrick, my god, please forgive me because I have sin of not watching this movie earlier.
