Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter Ratings & Reviews
- Jacob O’NealJune 13, 2025Most would argue, myself amongst them, that Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter is the best of the franchise. We get some decent characters, some of the best kills, Crispin Glover dancing like a spasmodic maniac, naked twins, Corey Feldman when we still enjoyed when we saw his name in the opening credits and an insane final few minutes that goes down as the best ending in this franchise, hands down. Sorry for the very long sentence in that last paragraph. The Jarvis family is living peacefully near Crystal Lake when some basic bitch of a mean girl rents the house next door with some group of teens that some like a strange mix, like Crispin Glover, known in the movie as a “dead f@&k”. His imaginary computer keyboard typing best friend who calls himself Teddy Bear and likes to sexually harass the girls in the house is obnoxious. The girls are all sweet and just the right amount of sexy. Meanwhile, at the Jarvis house, young Tommy (Feldman) is watching girls undress through his window while he’s jumping around like a dog on his bed when his mom comes in. Tommy pretends to be asleep and she notices the view and closes the blinds. Soon after the requisite smoking the funny marijuana cigarettes and having non-marital relations begins and Jason arrives to wreak havoc on anyone his eyes and machete find. Here’s the great thing about this movie - you actually get invested in a few of the main characters more than ever before in the franchise. Tommy being so young brought a new level of brutality to Jason. By extension, Jason was much scarier here than in the previous films. Not only do we get all that, but Crispin Glover dancing too! It was too amazing not to mention it a second time. Seriously, look it up if you haven’t seen this movie. It’s so worth it. Up next we discuss how a Playmate ironically named Vorhees barely got on her back before her boyfriend was getting dressed…if you catch what I’m trying to say. See you then.
- Tyler SOctober 27, 2025My favourite Friday the 13th, provides everything we need from a slasher and more. Joe Zito gives the series it's most professional look and feel. Getting Tom Savini back for the make-up F/X's pays off big time, from the hospital kills at the beginning to Jason's demise at the end Final Chapter never ceases to impress. The cherry on top, Crispin Glover dancing his way into slasher history with one of the most memorable scenes in any movie, ever. I fucking love this movie. 👍👍 10/10
- DANNYZUKO78October 7, 2025"CAN SOMEBODY JUST KILL JASON" A YOUNG COREY FELDMAN AND A YOUNGER JOAN FREEMAN. I DID'T LIKE TEDDY BUT HE WAS A LITTLE FUNNY BUT I DID LIKE THE TEDDY. ITS LIKE HALLOWEEN II.
- SandyOlson78October 6, 2025Jimmy (Jimbo) is hot🔥 Jason is huge! And his fingernails are gross. The last part of the movie is crazy!
- domentedcowJune 27, 2025One of the bests but still as repetitive and the same as the first 3, the most overrated of all the films.
- Carlos IbarraApril 10, 2025Despite not having camp counselors this is the quintessential Friday the 13th movie. Jason is more brutal than ever, it has one of the best casts of the series, and the kills are gruesome as hell. Like part 2, this is heightened by having a really likeable group of kids, that we connect to.
