Viernes 13 Ratings & Reviews
- Dale Leer9 de noviembre de 2025Nothing says 'weekend getaway' like being chased by a 7-foot-tall built like a vending machine psychopath with a machete and zero chill. Jason Voorhees is back, and this time he's charging towards you like full-blown cardio beast. Plot? Who needs it. Character development? Nah. Don’t expect logic. Or mercy. If you're into watching beautiful people make terrible decisions while a sentient refrigerator with a hockey mask that sprints at them like Usain Bolt on PCP you should give this a watch. Even if its for the opening scene. Would I survive if I was in this movie? Absolutely not
- Carlos Ibarra10 de abril de 2025It's not quite as bad as a lot of the Fanboys make it out to be, in fact it's one of the better of this crop of remakes, but at the end of the day it's still pretty bland. There's a few fun, memorable moments, but overall it takes itself to seriously and has an unnecessarily grim tone. It's not particularly bad, it's not particularly good, it's just mediocre.

- Tyler S30 de octubre de 2025Of all the 2000 horror remakes this and Texas Chainsaw are the only ones I enjoyed. Both directed by Marcus Nispel, he brings us the fastest and most savage Jason, he's brutal in this. I love the fake out opening and the absurd amount of horniness, there's a sex scene in this that goes on for so long it makes me laugh out loud every time. There's another scene in this that has a character drink beer out of a dirty shoe and it's more disgusting to me then any kill 😂.With 61 days of horror 2025 coming to a close I managed to squeeze in all of the Elm Street and Friday movies, love it. 👍👍 7.5/10
- Munams27 de octubre de 2025This might be the worst movie I’ve ever seen. It’s genuinely competing for the #1 spot. There’s not a single good thing I can say about it except, “It ends eventually.” Not enjoyable in any way and awful in every way imaginable and possible. If I could reverse time, I’d save myself the (almost) two hours. If I could give it negative five stars, I would.
- Joey Pelicano17 de septiembre de 2025oof. Ok, there were actually a lot of good things about this movie, but it felt like nobody cared enough to really follow through. Jared Padalecki does a good job, and some of the actors made some solid choices, but the whole thing felt overdone. There was no true suspense and WAY too much unnecessary nudity. Like way more than previous installments. Just a sigh of disappointment.
- Rick29 de julio de 2025I put this one off for a long time cause people trashed it. I liked it 🤷♂️. Jason was pretty intimidating. Some of the kills were fun. The dialog was off the charts bad, in a great way. Now we know what he does when there aren’t people to murder. My man’s been busy digging those tunnels and setting up that sweet lair.
- Jacob O’Neal16 de junio de 2025In 2009 I was the angry guy in his mid-30’s ranting about how reboots were destroying Hollywood. Remakes had a bad reputation so they change the verbiage and sell us the same crap. That’s the way I felt then. I mostly feel the same now, but my feelings have softened a bit on Friday The 13th. I’m not sure if it’s due to how many terrible reboots we’ve had since. Could they have all been so bad this looks good now? Or was this good all along and I pre-judged it, held onto that frustration and kept the opinion till 2020 when I watched again for the first time since 2009. The movie starts off with a re-shot ending of the original Friday The 13th from 1980 with Pamala Vorhees played by Major Kira of Deep Space Nine, Nana Visitor. We move ahead after Pamala Vorhees loses hers to 2009 where some horny college kids go out to the woods looking for a rumored pot farm out there. They get picked off. Then we jump forward again to a new group of horny college kids. Now we’re 30 minutes in and meeting the main characters…most of them. We still don’t meet Jared Padalecki for a bit yet. He shows up eventually looking for his horny sister who was with the last group. He also hits it off with one of the new group of horny students. They go out looking for his sister but he wasn’t with the group so I guess he’s not horny, just driven. Meanwhile, people die while water skiing, get harpooned and many more. The kills were pretty good. Derek Mears was a decent Jason. If I had to say this movie had one major flaw it was not introducing the characters you care about for far too long. A Scream style opening is okay. A recap is okay. Spending a long time getting to know characters to just see them die and meet another new crop is disorienting. We feel like we’ve been lied to, as if you promised us one thing and took it away just as I was getting invested. But once that part was far enough past and the main characters were getting killed you no longer care. In many ways this movie felt like a throwback to the 80’s slasher film - over the top kills and blood, lots of attractive women in various states of undress. One girl in particular has certain parts referred as stupendous several times. It’s a scene that actually goes on far too long. I guess they were making up for part 5 with the two pump chump. This movie is not bad. It’s not great, but it feels like the guys that wrote cared about the property and wanted to make a pure Jason movie. I feel like they came very close to there was no space, not body transfers, no fighting other supernatural beings. It was just Jason killing kids for breaking the rules. What more could you want? Here’s my ranking of all 12 movies, starting with 12: 12) Jason Goes To Hell 11) Friday The 13th Part V 10) Friday The 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan 09) Friday The 13th 3-D 08) Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood 07) Friday The 13th (2009) 06) Freddy Vs. Jason 05) Jason X 04) Friday The 13th Part II 03) Friday The 13th (1980) 02) Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives 01) Friday The 13th Part IV
- ricomckee15 de junio de 2025This is a capable horror movie update that misses some marks. The cast is well chosen and definitely pays homage to the numerous cast members in their 30’s and 40’s who played teenagers in the original series. They truly hold onto the large killing machine. The kills are gory and fun. Weird saying that. If you pay attention- the movie makes references to many of the films from the original series. So where does it fall flat and why didn’t this get a sequel…Simply- no scares at all. Not even cheap jump scares really. You see how every death is coming. You know who is going to die when. There is very little to care about in the characters. We accept Jason as an unstoppable killing machine but his victims need to step up their game. They are stupid and most deserve to die because they are the worst of the worst. However, how about a little redemption? How about caring about a character. How about one of the guys coming up with a plan? Or… and hear me out… how about the group split up so half can get away. 1 killing machine 15 people… hey someone has to go. However, no. There was no satisfying people who met their demise that we were like yay Jason. Nor was there the satisfying fake death of Jason. I don’t know about you but I have seen this before and no part of that beast would have not ended up in a box and in cement or in a grinder to make sausage. Lazy remake with great potential.
- cultfilmliker10 de abril de 2025Haven’t seen it since seeing it in theaters when it came out originally. I think I remember it being in 3D and it actually being decent as far as 3D goes. But also, I was 16. Honestly like the story used for the reboot. I mean it’s just Friday the 13th Part 2 which is one of the best. Also a solid cast! Love the douchebag from Accepted and the douchebag from Supernatural and the douchebag from Superstore and the douchebag from Party Down all being in one film! Impressive!
