Forced Bravery
Directed by Mack SennettThis picture shows a young man of delicate physique, who goes west for his health. He is made the butt of many boisterous jokes, and one day the cowboys decide to give him an Indian scare, they making up as redskins in full war paint and feathers. They chase the poor youth until he is terrified and exhausted and at last takes refuge in the bunkhouse. While cowering against the wall his hand comes in contact with a belt, in the holsters of which are two huge revolvers. In desperation born of fear he grasps the weapons and faces his pursuers, and when the bullets begin to sing around their ears the cowboys are quick to reveal their identity and to admit the joke is on them.
