I remembered my dad renting this for me when I was a kid and I didn't really care all that much for it. I decided to watch it again, 40 years later-ish, to see what I thought it out now since I barely remembered it. I still can't say I'm a fan, but I didn't hate it. The animation style was cool to me, though I see other reviews on here that didn't like it. It's not something seen anymore with everything CGI. The story was what I couldn't get that interested in. I prefer more sorcery in my Sword & Sorcery stories. And less barbarian beat em up.

I gave my copy away, that's how bad it is. Didn't want it in the house, and would've felt guilty taking money for it.
The Film Yap
Christopher Lloyd
This animated fantasy from Ralph Bakshi and Frank Frazetta is just a half-step above garbage, despite some cool elements.
Mania.com
Rob Vaux
It fully conjures a universe that other movies had to infer with cheap sets and silly costumes.
DVD Review
Felix Gonzalez Jr.
Its ambiguously gay villain notwithstanding, Fire and Ice just doesn't hold the weight, either visually or thematically, that its creators probably hoped it would.
