A young policewoman is transferred from her provincial police base in Lower Saxony to a city police station in Hamburg. At first she is very happy, meeting nice colleagues and having a lot of exciting jobs to do. But then her boss comes on to her and as she refuses having sex with him, the climate in the police station changes. Her colleagues intrigate on her, she is declared psychically ill. At the end, she sees only one way.
