- 0 1February 9, 2026The film's characters: all ordinary people scraping by in the city's underbelly (nightshift workers: criminals, prostitutes, a mute butcher). they're surrounded by people, yet emotionally isolated, craving intimacy but sabotaging or missing it. Wong portrays this urban alienation not just through voiceover narration, but through visuals. excellent cinematography. The movie is both sad and funny at different times.
